Trudi McDonnell – Solicitor
Trudi McDonnell holds a Bachelor of Laws and was admitted to practice in 2006. Trudi also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations).
Trudi practices primarily in commercial dispute resolution and litigation and building and construction dispute resolution and litigation.
Trudi's experience includes:
1. Acting for and advising construction companies, developers and subcontractors, in building and construction disputes, particularly in relation to the New South Wales Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (and interstate equivalents);
2. Preparation and assistance with the conduct of large scale and complex construction disputes, including the preparation of evidence and advice for litigation relation to projects with an overall value of more than $10m;
3. Acting in the Supreme Court for a major Club in relation to a complex construction dispute where the combined issues are valued in excess of $3M.
4. Providing advice in relation to commercial and construction disputes which proceeded on a non- litigated basis;
5. Advising on and preparation of Payment Claims, Payment Schedules, and documents for Adjudication for construction clients under the NSW Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act.
